Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Will Have A Sequel

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is about to get a sequel! The movie is slated to open on February 7 2014 and will be called Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers. The movie will feature all of the original cast and 2 new additions, Terry Crews, & Kristen Schaal. The movie will be done in 3D, but not much more info is known about it past that except that the movie will pick up after the food storm takes place Flint Lockwood and his family are forced to relocate because of the damage. However, they quickly learn beast take over the island, they must return to save the day once more.

I have to say, it sounds like a random movie. I hope that it does good, but I question since it doesn’t sound special at all. It just sounds strange. I suppose once they release more info it might make all of the difference, but until then it just sounds odd. I don’t even really know how many people remember the first movie? It seems like it wasn’t one of those mega hits that we hear about it of often, despite the fact that they were number 1 at the box office in 2009. So I suppose I could be the only one who doesn’t really remember it.

How do you feel about this news? Are you excited to it? I think it will be interesting, but I am not going to judge it yet until we know more about it. It seems like it could have potential, it is just hard to gauge when you do not know much about it. So I think we will have to wait this one out until we become closer to the actual release of it in 2014. The good news is that time will fly and I think our wait won’t feel like forever, which is great news for fans of the original film.
