Bridgit Mendler Releases Ready or Not Music Video

By on August 15, 2012

Good Luck Charlie‘s Bridgit Mendler has finally released the official music video for Ready or Not. Leading up to the Radio Disney debut, she released teasers of the song and video to build up buzz- she seems serious with a fun video that her fans will love. The song will be featured on her debut album Hello My Name Is, which is set to come out sometime in October. You can catch the fun video down at the bottom of this post, if you wish to see the full thing. As of right now Bridgit doesn’t have a full tour lined up, but hopes to and is focusing on her music along with her recently adopted charity.

I am glad that she is releasing this stuff in a timely manner. I think that is a huge step in the right direction for a promising music career, which she needs to really work on since her series was just granted a 4th season (which is traditionally the final one on Disney). She really seems to know what she wants to go musically and I love how she shows how much fun she has in the music video. It just helps add to the richness of her song and video. It is hard not to smile when you think of this video, or at least that is how it is for me.

How do you like the song and video? I think it is fun and catchy, which should make it do well. I do hope that it catches on the likes of the top 40, though. I am sure Bridgit doesn’t want to be seen just as Disney singer. However, it does give her a stepping stone and she is clearly is using it for that, but you know somewhere inside she wants musical respect in the current Top 40 industry. I think that she can get it easily achieve that in no time if Hollywood Records plays their cards right.
