Big Time Rush & Nickelodeon Confirm Third Album

By on August 22, 2012

Big Time Rush have just finished filming their new season of their show, released a new song and are on tour but they clearly do not feel busy enough. They just confirmed that they are heading back to the studio for a new album! Yep, the boys are nowhere near break time and they are preparing for a whole new load of music (likely to be released around their show’s new season).

The boys talked to MTV all about their lives, work and their next album-which Nickelodeon confirmed in the tweet below this paragraph. You can hear their interview down at the bottom of this post if you want more details on the band as a whole.

Guess who’s getting ready to work on a new album… @bigtimerush is! Can’t wait to hear it! #WooHoo

This is great news for the boys! They certainly have worked so hard and to hear that they have been given the okay for more music is a good sign. I hope that they can last for a good while on the network, which seems harder and harder to happen now. But we can root for them and hope that they will be one of the lucky few on that, right? I know that is what I am hoping for them. It is the least we can do to show our love and support for this TV show turned successful boy band.

Are you excited for their new album? I am, but I think that is pretty clear. They have a lot of talent and I love that they have been able to share it with the world. I just hope that they will be able to do it for a long while, with a focus on more tours as well. That is a pretty big deal and they need a chance to connect with fans in person, don’t you agree? I know that helps bands or singers to really build up their careers and that is a big part of a musical acts career. So I think Nickelodeon does need to allow them to have more room for that if they want mass success to compete with One Direction.
