Bella Thorne on Shake It Up

9/11 will always be a day remembered in infamy for the current generations that remember and lived through it. So a group of people made a movement called 9/11 Day with the hopes of promoting a positive change to mark the day, which Bella Thorne has agreed to take part of the new movement. She filmed a video with them to talk about what she pledges to do on that day.

Some of her pledge includes to help stop bullying. You can hear her whole pledge in the video down below. As far as we know, she is so far the only Disney star who has made the pledge that we are aware of so far.

I am glad that she joined it, it might help remind people of the good out there still. It is something that makes me happy inside to know that they want to turn around the day, but at the same time they will never be able to fully remove the stigma of it. However, it is nice to see that they wish to try. I hope more stars join the movement since the idea is good. I just think that they shouldn’t remove the full attention of people on 9/11. This year will mark 11 years since the terrorist attack took place.

Are you glad that Bella is joining the movement? It is lovely, but I would like to see people take the time to honor those who were lost. However, I do support that they want to make a good change in the world on that day. It is a nice way to pay respect to those lost. But I still feel like that day should be used to show respect to those who risked their lives or died on that day. That is the least we can do now that it has passed. Don’t you agree on that or should we focus on what we can do to make the world a better place as a whole?
