Behind the Scenes of Jordin Sparks Seventeen Shoot

By on August 2, 2012

Jordin Sparks is a past American Idol winner with a hot music career, but she is also one of the last people to work with the late Whitney Houston (RIP) in her new movie Sparkle. Cambio caught up with Jordin at her Seventeen magazine shoot for a fashion spread behind the scenes. She is featured in the magazine for her starring role in a movie loosely based off the R&B band the Supremes, which is also a remake. It will premiere on August 17th. Despite of the sad undertone, she was able to talk to Cambio about fashion and beauty at the shoot. You can find out what her fashion tips are in the video down below.

I am glad that she had so much fun at the shoot. It means a lot to love what you do and I do think she loves what she does. Then again, we know she loves fashion since she used to be a model before she won American Idol, so I am sure that helps a lot. She clearly knows what she is talking about when it comes to fashion advice. I personally think she should write a book on how to dress. She knows a lot about it and with had a history in modeling, I think she could add an extra something to it that some of these so called experts do not add no matter what they like to think they did.

How do you like Cambio’s video? Did Jordin give good advice? I think so! She has always dressed in a way to flatter herself and I think that is something hard to find in Hollywood. I am glad that she feels like she needs to give advice and remind people about how to not dress. Like her advice about trying too small of clothes. Those are wise words that everyone can follow and should! As for the actual shoot, I cannot wait to see the full thing.
