Will Miley Cyrus Replace Jennifer Lopez On American Idol?

By on July 10, 2012

If you’ve been paying attention to the latest rumors regarding the next season of American Idol, you’ve probably heard that current judge Jennifer Lopez may not be on board next season. This rumor has spawned speculations of big name celebrities that could replace her and one of those names is Miley Cyrus.

This rumor could or could not be true. I know it wasn’t too long ago that people were assuming that Miley was on board as a judge for X Factor and that wasn’t true. Other names on the list include former idol Adam Lambert, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, will.I.AM, and Nicki Minaj. So far, all of these names are just rumors and nothing has been set in stone yet.

I think Miley would make a terrific judge if given the chance and if she wanted to. Right now she’s currently working on her own album so I’m not sure if she would want to take that time off to star as a judge. Miley’s got the talent and the experience of the industry. I think she would probably be more fitting as judge than some of the others considering she’s much closer to the ages of the contestants than Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler. Would you like for Miley to join the panel of judges on AI?
