Spongebob Squarepants: Ghouls Fools Artwork Unveiled

By on July 29, 2012

Spongebob SquarePants has a new DVD coming out on August 28th called Spongebob Squarepants: Ghouls Fools. It will be full of scary-ish episodes released in time for Halloween. They also released the official artwork for the DVD. The series has remained to be one of Nickelodeon’s biggest shows and top earners as a whole for the network. Every year they release 1 or 2 DVDs of episode collections along a certain theme. Here is the official description for the DVD, which is on pre-order now via Amazon for those curious in where to buy it.

Take a hauntingly hilarious dive into Bikini Bottom and sing along to some ghostly good tunes from the double-length episode, Ghoul Fools! Plus, go on a treasure hunt, learn to tie a whole boatload of nifty knots, and board the ship of the most inept ghost ever to try and haunt the Seven Seas, the Flying Dutchman himself. It’s a collection of episodes so good, it’s scary!

I am excited! I love the show and I think the writers do a great job in keeping adults and kids happy with it. I would not expect anything less from the writers and while a lot of those episodes are most likely classics, it will be a nice collection for those who to get into the holiday mood. I am sure they will be bought up and who knows, for SpongeBob SquarePants fans it may find its way as a holiday gift. Either way, I am excited and happy to see it! I am sure it will stay on top of DVD sales for a good while after release.

How do you like the cover? I love it, I think it fits the theme well. I just wish we knew what all the episodes will be? That is my biggest issue with this news. However, that will be solves soon enough in a matter of a few weeks since we will finally see the listing. Who else is excited for the release? I am sure that I cannot be the only one who and let alone the only adult who is. I mean, how can we not like the fun, loving yellow sponge? It is next to impossible if you ask me!
