Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber celebrated her birthday after the <em>2012 Teen Choice Awards at a fancy restaurant. But they were sadly followed by the paparazzi, who followed them and made sure to capture the birthday girl and her boyfriend on a date. You can see in the video their rush to get out of the way and to hurry back to safety. Justin even gave Selena flowers and helped her into her seat that much quicker. It was a sweet gesture, even if they clearly did not enjoy that part of their special date night. You can watch the whole clip down below to see what it was like for the couple.

I feel bad for Selena. Nobody wants to be stalked on their birthday and she was in a way. I hope that her date with Justin wasn’t ruined, though. He made a lovely effort and that is what really counts in my eyes. However, I can see how having your photo taken and camera in your face could easily ruin a perfect day. Hopefully she was able to move past that once they were in the in the safety of the car and drove away from the restaurant.

How do you feel about Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber being rushed by the cameras? It wasn’t fair, especially on someone’s birthday. The paparazzi clearly have zero class and that is a real shame. You would think that they would have some basic, human instincts like not following people on dates or their birthdays. But nope, that seems to be beyond them. At least she and Justin didn’t seem to be too upset over it. I suppose they have to be used to it now to a certain degree. Still, I do pity them and even more so on her 20th birthday.
