Selena Gomez Chats About Hotel Transylvania

We may have to wait until next year to see Selena Gomez star in a live action film, but this fall she has Hotel Transylvania to promote and she is taking it seriously. She recently attended an event held for the big movie and she had a small interview talking about the Adam Sandler movie. She talks about her sassy character, Mavis – who happens to fall for a human. This is much to her father’s chagrin, so you can expect drama and monster goodness to follow. The movie will open this September 28. You can catch the interview in the video down below this post.

I am happy that Selena Gomez is taking this role so seriously, even if it isn’t much of one. It is like a great ode for what she used to do for Disney! I hope she is looking forward to next year’s media blitz for Spring Breakers. It sounds like it will be a hit if they play their cards right. People are curious to see Selena playing a not so nice role! But lets get back to topic here, I am excited to see this movie. I personally think anything with Adam is great and to know that she is in it, it only will make it that much better than they were originally.

How do you like Selena doing one last kid’s movie? I thought it was great, even if she is eager to break out of those bonds. She has proven herself to be a serious singer, so I do expect the same outcome for her in terms of acting. I don’t see why that couldn’t or shouldn’t happen for her. We all already know what she can do and I think she could easily become a leading lady if she lands the right role. All we have to do is wait for that to happen and support her smaller roles like this one.
