Sandi Thom Covers Fleetwood Mac’s Songbird

Scottish singer/songwriter Sandi Thom has done a cover of the popular Fleetwood Mac song, “Songbird” to wide acclaim. 

The platinum selling singer is currently gearing up for the release of her fourth album, Flesh and Blood, due September 25th on her own Guardian Angels Records.

As a follow-up the first single, “The Sun Comes Crashing Down,” Sandi has been offering up weekly cover videos for her fans by the likes of Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, and Guns N Roses. She has just unveiled the latest song, her cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 classic, “Songbird,” as well as Heart’s “Alone.”

Flesh and Blood is Sandi’s second album released solely by her independent label Guardian Angels Records, and is the follow-up to 2010’s critically acclaimed Merchants and Thieves. The album was produced by the Black Crowes’ Rich Robinson and was recorded at 16 Tons Studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
