Pattie Mallette’s (Justin Bieber’s Mother) Memoir Released On September 18, 2012

Most fans only know Pattie Mallette as Justin Bieber’s mother, but with her memoir on the way titled Nothing But Up fans will get to learn more about the pop stars mother.

The memoir will be released to stores on September 18, 2012 and will provide fans an insight to another side of Bieber‘s life.  Not many know that Pattie was a teen mom who had to overcome a drug and alcohol addiction.  She tells her story of being a young girl who felt unloved and abandoned.  She talks about how she was a teenager who made some poor choices.  Pattie mentions how when she was young woman she tried to commit suicide and could hardly bear to believe that God would ever care for her. One who messed up, got pregnant, and got a second chance. Every reader will find themselves somewhere in Pattie’s painful journey of redemption. They will be encouraged by her example that what was once broken can become whole.

The ‘Boyfriend‘ hitmaker’s mother Pattie Mallette gave birth to him when she was just 18 and Justin, who is now 18, says being so close in age has made them best friends.  Speaking on 2Day FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show, he said: “She’s amazing… I was definitely an accident, it’s great my mom is super young, she’s a friend and a mom, she’s always been really strict, she’s still keeps me in line.”
