Pair of Kings Up For 2012 Emmy Award

Disney XD has some good news for their series Pair of Kings! They received a 2012 Emmy Award nod. Disney made the exciting announcement via Twitter. The show is currently airing a new season that has Adam Hicks filling in as a new character for Mitchel Musso’s former role. The nod is a surprise when you consider that many oft the fans have expressed dislike in Adam’s role (however, I am aware that this is for the last season that Mitchel was in, it is still nice to see that they are up for an award despite the critics of the show). Granted, they are up for a production award for the second season. Still, it is a nice thing for the show to see and to know that they are being recognized for their work. Here is the tweet that they released.

This is great news! I am so proud of that team and to see that their hard work is paying off. I suppose it is a good thing that the nominations are not chosen by fans! Otherwise I doubt they would have been picked for the nomination. However, I am sad that none of the cast was picked. It may not be the best show on TV, but they do have its place. I think that Adam at least have proven himself to be truly gifted actor. I just don’t think this show allows him to show his best side sadly.

Are you happy for them? I am, but I do think that they are not a bad show, even with Adam. However, I am not sure if it will make it to another season after this one. So I am glad that they are getting a nomination for an award when we this show will likely not last past this current season. Perhaps this could save it, but I doubt it. At least they can say that they are doing well enough to be noticed by some groups who dole out the awards. Hopefully they will win this one!

   This Emmy nomination has absolutely nothing to do with this season with Adam Hicks. It was completely based on the previous season with Mitchel Musso. The cast picture regarding this nomination should be from season two

   I usually like your articles. However your facts are incorrect on this story. The Emmy nod is for a season 2 episode “The Evil King” pt.2. It has nothing to do with Adam Hicks. You are right about POK not lasting to season 4. All Mr. Hicks has done is create bad chemistry with the other actors to the point that the show is just awkward to watch.
