Nickelodeon Launches New Game Show – Splatalot

Nickelodeon just premiered a new series that they will be adding to their roaster of shows. The new series is called Splatalot and it will be a game show. They share that the show will be based off of a classic Nick show, which they hint you can tell by looking at the trailer. The show comes on at 7:30 PM EST during the weekdays. Beyond that and the trailer, not much else has been shared about the show. But you can find the full trailer down at the bottom and for their full tidbit, here is the full statement.

It’s a whole night of Skills and Spills! Weeknights with Figure it Out at 7/6c! Followed by the new show Splatalot at 7:30/6:30c!

It certainly is strange for them not to share much about the show! Nickelodeon is typically really good about releasing info, so I do suspect that they have to have more to do with it that then they are letting known. Whatever their reason is, it better be good! Nobody wants to be left out of info about new series, especially those who want to go on a game show like this one. I would think that Nickelodeon would want to give fans a real reason to tune in and I just don’t see how by not releasing any info will do that. But hey, they must know what they are doing and I suppose we will all have to watch the actual show to find out more.

Can you figure out what past series this one is copying? I am thinking All That, but I don’t really know? It seems sort of a strange question to ask fans, since most of their fans today are not the fans that they had in yesteryear. Then again, they might be hoping to regain their old fan base with this new series, and if so, I am not sure if they are marketing it right. How do you feel about this new series based on the trailer or if you watched the premierr of it on July 17th?
