New Singer Jessica Ashley Joins List of Beliebers

By on July 5, 2012

Jessica Ashley is a New York native, who is reportedly called the new Mariah Carey, recently talked to Cambio about her career, inspiration and favorite celebrities. Of course, she is like all other young girls, she is a self proclaimed fan of Justin Bieber! You can read the full interview at Cambio, but here are the highlight of it all about her love for Justin Bieber. You can also catch the music video for her lead single “Souvenir” off her EP Prelude down at the bottom of this post.

(on who she follows on Twitter) I follow Jim Carrey because he’s pretty funny. I follow Kim Kardashian because I like her makeup tips. I also follow Bieber on Twitter–I’m a Belieber. He posts rehearsals and stuff, and I always think it’s awesome to check those out.

She sounds like a person who just loves celebrities. However, it certainly is a good thing for her to say that she loves Justin. It will help her get more attention from the media and also from Justin fans. Maybe she is also hoping for him to offer her help like he did with some other girls? I mean, that would be one way to climb on top, but I do doubt that he is seeking for anyone else when he has Carly Rae Jepsen. It would not be a smart move when you are putting your efforts into someone else.

How do you like her? Should Justin work with Jessica just based on her love of him? I don’t think that is how the business should work. His focus should be on his career and Carly’s upcoming career. That is more than enough on his plate and Jessica does have Swizz Beats on her side, which is more than enough star power if you ask me. I am sure she can do well without the help of Justin as long as she proves herself to be a serious singer.
