Disney starlet Bridgit Mendler is ready to move forward with her music career. The Good Luck Charlie actress recently got the chance to discuss her music plans on the set of her show and we got the video for you below.

Bridgit’s music career is just blooming and she’s got so many reasons to be excited. In the video, she said it’s going very well. She enjoyed the writing process and now most of the recording process is done. She admitted that she’s only got one more song to record. Bridgit also stated that her first single will be out by the end of the summer. Her debut album should be complete later on this year.

A music career is an exciting venture and this is really just the beginning for her. We can’t wait for her first single and album. Bridgit first wowed us with her talent on Disney’s made-for-television move Lemonade Mouth, so we knew that sooner or later she would release her own solo album. Are you as excited as we are over Bridgit’s music? Do you think she’ll find success in the music field? I’d like to think so but we will have to wait and see. I’m secretly hoping that Bridgit will feature a duet or collaboration with a big name star but I doubt it will be with this album.
