Miley Cyrus recently sang on a hook of a new Rock Mafia song, and some might say it is surprising! The former Disney star the hook on “Moring Star”, which features some not so kid friendly words. The song was leaked last year, but they just released the official song yesterday along with Rock Mafia’s MixTape Vol 1. Despite of being You can catch the song down below, but please be warned that it should not be heard around kids. No word on if she will be sticking with this mature, dance style on her own upcoming album or not.

To be honest, I am not surprised by her doing this kind of lyrical content. She has made it clear that she is not and was never the kind of girl she played on Hannah Montana. So I figure most people won’t be surprised by this song. I do think it will be interesting to see what direction that she actually takes with her next album. I sort of expect her to follow the footsteps of Madonna or Lady Gaga by trying to keep pushing that proverbial envelope. That is just the way she wants to be seen for now and I doubt that will change anytime soon. We just need to accept and see what she will put out next time in terms of her career.

How do you like the song? Are you surprised by her trying to change her image even more? I am not and I think most of her fans won’t be either. We clearly know her direction that she chose. I don’t think we should expect anything less from her. I am hoping that soon enough she does release some sort of statement about her next album, but I doubt that we will. She seems to be at peace with keeping it secret for now. However, I guess if this song is a start of a new sound-she then has let the cat out of the bag. Only time will tell.
