Lucy Hale Talks About Her Upcoming Album

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is about to release her first album and she recently took the time to talk a little bit about her new project. The Tennessee native mentioned that he new album is country! Here is what she had to say about it:

I grew up in Tennessee, so that’s always been my heart and soul. Country music is so heartfelt. I think it’s a perfect fit for me. I think it will surprise people.

This album isn’t Hale’s first venture into music. Did you know she got her first start on an American Idol spinoff? Back in 2003, Lucy was one of the five young singers chosen by voters to create a now-defunct tween band. Since then, Lucy chose a path to acting which was a very smart move considering that she landed a role in Pretty Little Liars but it’s great to know that she’s venturing back out into music!
