Hayden Panettiere TV character not Taylor Swift
Hayden Panettierre is dismissing rumors that her character in a new country music TV drama is based on the country superstar Taylor Swift’s life.
Panettiere will be playing a rising country star in the ABC drama “Nashville,” and the speculation has been rife about whether the character is inspired by Swift and her own rise to fame. However, Panettiere is adamant there are very few similarities between her character, Juliette, and the real-life singer Taylor Swift. She told Access Hollywood that she has heard the Taylor Swift thing quite a bit and she thins aside from being the same age and blonde that they are very different, but she says that once you get to know her character Juliette you will see the two are different people.
Nashville is set against the backdrop of the Nashville music scene, the new drama revolves around a 40-year-old superstar Rayna James, whose star begins fading. She is forced to team up with Juliette on tour in order to maintain her label’s support for her latest record, whose sales have been underwhelming. And scheming Juliette can’t wait to steal Rayna’s spotlight. But sharing a stage with that disrespectful, untalented, little vixen is the last thing Rayna wants to do, which sets up a power struggle for popularity. Could the undiscovered songwriting talent of Scarlett O’Connor (Clare Bowen) be the key to helping Rayna resurrect her career? What do you think of this?
