Demi Lovato Confirmed As Teen Choice Awards 2012 Host

We heard rumors about Demi Lovato hosting the Teen Choice Awards 2012 about a week or two ago and now it has been confirmed! Demi, who is up for a couple of awards, will be doing her first big hosting gig on July 22. She will be joining the likes of her friend Selena Gomez, who previously has hosted award shows on her own accord. Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen will also be singing live at the show. Demi will also be a new judge on the second season of The X-Factor, which will premier this fall.

I am glad that Demi will be able to host the show, it will be a chance for her to prove her critics wrong and to see how well she does on live TV. It will be interesting to see how the fans react and how well Demi will do. While I am sure she will do well, I do think Fox feels the need to prove her and Britney Spears’ critics as wrong. Demi will also be promoting the show’s return this year. Their debut season did not do well and I am sure Fox is hoping the more promotion they do, the better their ratings will be. Plus since Demi is popular and has a current album out, she makes the most sense to do the job for Fox and Simon Cowell as the public face for the show.

Are you excited to see her host the show? I am, I have no doubt that she will do an amazing job and keep everyone entertained. I cannot wait to see what she will all wear for the show. I have a feeling a lot of fun and flirty clothes will be her pick, with bright colors. That seems to be her current style, with the ever slight flair of rocker chic. It should be exciting for fashion editors and fans who enjoy fashion taste. It will be a great sample of what we might possibly can expect for when she is sitting at the judge’s table later on in September!
