Demi Lovato Admits She Wanted To Star On American Idol At A Child

Fox music competition American Idol first debuted ten years back in the summer of 2002. Many kids who grew up watching the show clearly dreamed of starring of the show and Disney starlet Demi Lovato is no exception. She recently admitted, “I was, like, counting down the years until reaching the “Idol” minimum age of 16.”

How does she feel that she landed the plum position as a judge on Idol competitor X Factor? She said that “I never thought that at 19 I would be on the panel.”

The good news is that Demi Lovato didn’t have to go through the grueling process of auditions and competition. Instead, she gets to sit up on a board with other music greats and help decide which singer could be the next big star. Demi is a talented girl but she’s also very lucky. Many young singers strive to make it big and Demi was one of the luck few to achieve that dream.
