David Archuleta Discusses His Mission & Album

David Archuleta may already be gone on his Mormon mission, but he has left a few gems behind. A more recent one was of him sharing on how he came to the decision to do it and why he chose to. He also shares info about his new album, BEGIN and what he all had to do before he left for it. The interview is lovely one that helps remind the fans everywhere that he is still with us through his music. It is nice that he has done so much for his fans while he is away for the next two years. This really proves how much he loves them and how he wants to keep them happy, even though he has other things to see about for now. I hope his new album sells extremely well and hopefully get more than enough support from the radio. That would be a great way to honor him and show that the world is not forgetting David, like he isn’t forgetting his fans back home. All I can say is that he has a heart of solid gold. I have no other words to say about David and I think most of his fan base can agree with me on that.

How do you like his interview? Did he make the right choice for himself? I say yes, but I don’t think he needed to feel like he had to explain it. His fans know his faith and most are likely aware of that requirement, so I don’t think it is a surprise to say at the least. It is a wonderful thing for him to do and he has a lot of people supporting his choice. David has worked hard to get to where he is, but he recognizes that isn’t the only most important thing in life. I am sure he will be happy to come home, but I also feel like he must be happy with the choice that he did make about going on the mission. He will know have more than fame to be proud of, once he returns..

   I treasure even video David left, and everything else he did for us – Nandito Ako miniseries, the Forevermore album, and the upcoming BEGIN. album. Re missions – they are expected on young Mormon men but not required and some celebrity Mormons do not serve and it’s a hard decision for someone who already has a career. And re BEGIN. – there are preorders at Deseret Book, WOWHD, Walmart, BestBuy, Amazon, Sears Entertainment and in the Philippines at Odyssey. And preorders are already listed on the iTunes of some countries (hopefully USA soon). If anyone is on Twitter, David is DavidArchie.

   I miss David’s happy spirit and infectious smile. He is the nicest guy on the planet and his heart of gold is real!!! BEGIN. is going to be just amazing!
   David deserves so much from all of his fans, as he gives so much to others.
   I know he is busy touching hearts and healing lives as he has done for all of his fans. There is just no one like David. He is such an unbelievable singer, songwriter, actor, model, and most importantly …..person! Bless him!!
