Carly Rae Jepsen & Owl City Debut Good Time Music Video
Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen have finally released the music video for “Good Time“. Like rest of the songs by both acts, it has become a hit and a big part of summer memories for fans. It features a lot of summery themes in it. Carly and the guys of Owl City all sit around and show off the best of summer relaxation in the video, even with a tiny bit of a small town feel to it. The song has done well on iTunes charts and we can expect the same for the music video! You can it down below to see how it turned out and to see if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy just by watching it.
I am happy that we didn’t have to wait too long for the video. It seems like they did it the right way and I am sure fans will be watching it over and over again. It didn’t hurt that they released info about it before they actually released the music video. Justin Bieber could take a cue from them, since it took him forever to release the “Boyfriend” music video. Hopefully Carly will be able to keep this path and up. However, let us enjoy this music video and song, let it mark the summer of 2012 for a whole group of people who seek for those catchy summer tunes. This one certainly fits the bill for that to say the least.
How do you like the music video? It is a lovely video for those wanting that special summer anthem. But I also think that it is a hard line to say which song is the bigger summer anthem when you compare it to Carly’s “Call Me Maybe“. That songs has been all over the radio this summer and in a way, I suppose we could call this the Carly Rae Jepsen summer at this rate. She has certainly has a good start to her career this year and I am sure she is helping Owl City (even thought they do not technically need her help). Do you agree she rules the airwaves this summer?
