Big Time Rush Featured In Nintendo 3DS Commercial

By on July 16, 2012

What do the boys from Big Time Rush do when they’re not entertaining the masses with their cool songs and impressive dance skills? They’re probably unwinding with a video game. All the guys were recently featured in a commercial for Nintendo 3DS which you can check it out below!

It’s great when gaming companies team up with popular celebrities. I think the boys of Big Time Rush are the ideal celebs for the commercial considering they’re well-known by tweens, the age group they are probably trying to target for their advertisements. This advertisement features the boys backstage at a show and they’re all immersed in the video games they’re playing on their Nintendo DS handheld consoles. Clever ads like this one make the product more desirable as most young kids aspire to do everything they see their favorite celebs do.

What do you think of the Nintendo DS ad featuring Big Time Rush? If you don’t already have a DS, does this ad make you want to purchase one? Do you think the boys of BTR enhance the company’s image or would you have rather seen another band or star in their place? I’m loving the ad just the way it is and I wouldn’t change it.
