4Count – Meet Nick Cannon’s New Band

Teen magazines are always seeking for the next hottest guys to talk about and Bop (along with Tiger Beat) found a new boy band called 4Count. The band recently sang on America’s Got Talent with New Boyz. The hip hop flavored band was formed by former dancers and include Kieran Ackerman, Ben Robinson, Aaron Scott and Adam Ackerman. They are Nick Cannon’s new project since they appeared on his show. The Ackerman brothers used to be backup dancers for School Gyrls, who were also another project for Nick. He signed the band on once they have filled out their complete lineup. As a whole, the band is more of a throwback to the 90s bands than anything the current boy bands of today.

I am glad that they are starting to get more attention and finally some respect. I think they certainly have the potential to be the next big thing. It helps that they are charming and have that edge that many girls love. They could easily climb quickly and match the level of fame that One Direction has as of now. Nick picked out a well rounded band that brings a whole new level of music to the current generation of pop and I am sure 4Count will be welcomed with open arms by fans.

How do you like 4Count? Are they as cute as the magazine is stressing that they are? I think they seem talented and charming, and I hope they go far. I am sure teens will find them as cute and talented enough to like. Like I said before, they do have that edge to them without coming off as intimidating. So that will work to their favor at first. Hopefully their music will also give them a bonus in terms of earning fans and respect from the music industry as a whole.
