Twilight the Graphic Novel Collector’s Edition With Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

For die hard fans of the Twilight series the books are coming to life in beautiful pictorials in the graphic novel version.

Above is the cover for the Twilight Graphic Novel Collectors Edition.  Two graphic novels depicting Twilight have already been published and now the New Moon Graphic Novel Volume 1 will be hitting stores on October 30, 2012.    Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 1 was released on March 26, 2010 and Volume 2 was release last year on October 11, 2011.  The graphic novels follows closely to the books and it uses direct quotes from the book, while shortening some scenes or omitting them all together.  These graphic novels are published by Yen Press and the majority of the book’s done in grayscale or extremely light washes to get the drabness of Forks, breaking out into color for dreams, intense moments and the infamous “sparkly” scene.  Even the occasional bits of physical comedy that fall so flat in prose are done well.

You can pre-order the Collectors Edition and the New Moon Volume 1 Edition now with both comic versions of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.  The Korean artist Young Kim adapts Stephenie Meyer’s novel for the benefit of the comics-reading public. The books are oddly styled in the Korean fashion and definitely adds a certain style to the books.  What do you think of the Collector’s Edition cover?  Will you be picking up the next graphic novel?
