Supermodel Marisa Miller Expecting Baby #1 With Husband

Supermodel Marisa Miller is expecting her first child with her husband Griffin Guess. The happy couple confirmed the news to US Weekly. She is due in the fall. This will be her first child with her husband of 6 years. They got married back in 2006, and have been able to stay together while she has switched gears in her modeling career. No word on the baby’s gender or name, but we can certainly hope that they will pick a normal name. We also do not know the exact month that she is due, but it does sound as if she is almost half way through, if not already there by now.

First of all, let me say congratulations to the happy couple! It is great news that they are expanding their family. I am sure they are beyond excited to bring this new addition home once fall comes around. New additions to a family is always good news for those who are wanting to expand their current families. It will be interesting to see what they name the child and to see if this will change her career even more or not. Being a model and a mom may not be the best option, so she can hopefully develop new plan why she is waiting for the birth of their new child!

How do you feel about this news? Do you think they will name their child a normal name? I hope so! I am sure their future child will want a normal name and one that will allow them to grow up without feeling embarrassed bt it.. That would be an annoying hassle for the child when she/he grows up. Then again, normal names do not mean people won’t change their name in the future. Besides that issue, I do hope that they do not sell their baby photos. That is tacky and I am sure we will see photos of the baby soon enough anyways. Plus Marisa and Griffin both do not need the money, so they should focus on preparing for parenthood and not the money they can earn from baby photos.
