Rock Legend Mick Fleetwood Admires Miley Cyrus

By on June 25, 2012

Miley Cyrus may have a tough time in the media, but she has a rock legend on her side. Mick Fleetwood who is the drummer of Fleetwood Mac shared that he is an avid fan of Miley’s. He compared her to a country legend and friend of hers, Dolly Parton. He even admits that his praise for her will shock some people, but he clearly does not mind stepping up and giving the former Disney star some praise. Here is what he shared about Miley and his love for her as well as how much he respects her as an artist.

It may surprise you but I think Miley Cyrus is a great talent, She reminds me of Dolly Parton vocally.I am a big fan and admire her

I am sure that must make Miley feel so good about herself since she has expressed that she felt like people no longer liked her here. So this should help remind her that she still does have a strong fan base and who knows, maybe she can work with Mick on her new album? He clearly is a fan and it could do some great things for her in her career to have a serious rock legend working with her (besides Brett Michaels). It could do some great things for the both of them and perhaps even expand their fan bases.

How do you like Mick’s comments? I love them, they were classy and a great way to show support to other acts. I hope Miley will release a thank you or reach out to him some way. He certainly did not have to come out and admit his love for her, but he did. If you ask me that makes him awesome since he wanted to help boost her career. I hope that those two can do a song together, it could only benefit them both and I am sure they could inspire each other so much. With his experience and her younger sound, they could become a record busting duo with ease in no time at all!
