Niall Horan Joins Olly Murs For Acoustic Duet

By on June 4, 2012

One Direction is currently on tour with Olly Murs and he has bonded with Niall Horan. The boys recent sang an acoustic version “Heart Skips a Beat” and was filmed doing it. Rapper Chiddy Bang also makes a guest appearance on this Toronto stop. They all had a good time and Olly decided it was time for them to share it. You will find the video down below if you wish to watch the fun duo (or should we say trio?). As for what Olly tweeted alongside with the video, it this.

What happens back stage usually stays back stage…until now!! Check out this cheeky video from Toronto #OllyAndNiall,

Right now both acts are on tour in North America. No word on if they plan to bring this on stage, but you can enjoy the video of the fun duet!

I have to say that I glad he shared it. It shows a lot of personality for the both of them. Plus it shows us that they have become good friends, which is always exciting for fans to see that! Hopefully they will bring their duet on stage one day, but at least we do have the video now. I am sure people all over the world will be quick to favorite it and share. I doubt they will ever be able to live it down, much like how Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato’s vlogs never did. However, it isn’t bad per se. I think they can use this as a way to show their musical talent in a way that many of their fans cannot see if they didn’t do the duet. Heck, they might even start doing more of these videos if they get good enough feedback!

How do you feel about the duet? Should they do more of these kind of things or not? I say yes and no. I think they should stick to what they are good at, but they should have a little side project of singing with each other. That would be a lot of fun for them and fans alike. They seem to be close to really focus on this and they clearly had a good time. So it could be used as a way to stay busy on the road without over doing it. I personally think that this could be a lot of fun for them if they stick with it. Then again, I am a fan of side bands and it could be an amazing creative outlet for the both of them in the long run. What do you guys think?
