Justin Bieber Confirms One Direction Duet?

We told you that Justin Bieber and One Direction both wanted to record a song together, and now that seems to be happening! Justin reportedly told The Mirror that he and One Direction are indeed planning to work together on a song for their upcoming album. While the magazine that he reportedly shared the news with is a gossip rag, it does seem as if both acts have hinted at a possible song for some time. As for what Justin all had to say about the supposed song, here is the quote?

They came over my house and we were just chilling out around the pool and listening to music. We were talking about me collaborating with them on a song on their next album. It’s gonna be great.

It sounds promising at the very least. I think that Justin and the boys from One Direction have a connection that helps make things like this possible. However, I would be surprised if this never comes to fruition. I think they could mesh musically well, but at the same time I am not sure if Simon Cowell would want his boys mixing with someone who he feels could be high competition. I am sure they have contractual clauses in it that could prevent it, but then again I could be wrong-which I hope is the case. But we should consider the fact that since this rumor has been floating around for a while, I am not sure when or if it will happen.

Do you think it will happen or not? I would love for it to, and I think most fans would. But we all know how the industry works and Justin is busy with the release of his newest album. I am not sure if this would be a conductive to him right now or even One Direction. They all have been working hard and promoting their albums, that doesn’t leave much time for recording new music or at least to organize a huge duet. So it seems like it may have to be put on the back burner for now, even if the report in the magazine is correct about the duet actually being in the works for now.

   I am a Justin Bieber &( Selena Gomez ) fan but I think it will be great if yet make a song toghether I think it will sound great!!!! But at the same time it will be like weird cues then the belieber and a the directoiners will be like idk I think it will b weird for that part but the rest it will be great <3

   Why would there contract prevent them from doing work with the biggest pop star on the planet. I think it will do nothing more than open up their music to a broader horizon. The beiber fans will buy the album (or song) just to hear his part. Hence selling more albums. No clause in there contract should prevent them from said collaboration.
