Justin Bieber – “As Long As You Love Me” on The Today Show

By on June 18, 2012

Justin Bieber is big on giving concerts and so he decided to kick off the release of Believe with free concerts in select cities for a TV special. However, he also decided to give the guests of The Today Show a nice concert for free and even performed some of his newer songs, such as “As Long As You Love Me“. Yes, he also included Big Sean on that song as a special guest. Best of all, you can catch the lovely performance of that song in the video down below. As for what Justin had to say to his fans after the fabulous show, he tweeted the following.

@todayshow Thanks for having me and thanks for letting me do some extra songs for the fans. Shoutout to @bigsean for coming thru. #BELIEVE

It is great to see Justin working on his music and giving his fans amazing memories. I also love how he allowed Big Sean to come out and join him. Many songs that feature other singers do not really do that often, which can be frustrating for fans of that song. But Justin was kind enough to allow Big Sean to shine and I am glad that he did. That always can make for a great partnership later on, much like how we saw Jaden and Justin become friends. However, I doubt that we can expect those two being on tour together, much like how Jaden did not go on tour with Justin. But the good news is that we will always have this video as a reminder that Justin did allow Big Sean to join him at least once.

Do you like this performance? Should this be Justin’s next single in the future? I think it could help raise his level of respect in the R&B music world however, I think we all know that he also wants his fans to follow him and he has to work slowly on that.So I can see why he may not want to promote those kind of songs yet, but I do think that it could at least do some serious good for his top 40 career.
