Jennette McCurdy Promo Photo for Victorious Role

Jennette McCurdy is guest starring on an upcoming episode of Victorious and their official Twitter shared a preview photo for the upcoming episode. It is slated to premiere on June 9th under the title of “Crazy Ponnie”. It seems like Jennette will be playing a geek or shy girl just based off the photo, which will be fun either way to see. Clearly they have no plans to release a description of her role yet to give us an idea of what she could be doing on this episode. However, I doubt we will have to worry about Jennette’s role being terrible since she is always an on point actress. She is beyond par when she acts and we can all agree with that.

I have to say, I hope she can pull a Debby Ryan. Jennette McCurdy has so much talent and I would hate to see her always play as a sidekick. She certainly is gifted enough to shine and have her own series. She has so much to offer and I feel like her current role as Sam does not provide her much of a chance to really shine with it. Just look at how they portray her on it. She certainly needs a chance to have a role where she is the normal character and not someone who is just a sidekick. Granted, she is supposed to star in one once iCarly ends-but we still don’t know where she will fit in with it.

Do you think she needs her own big show? I do and I am rooting for her to land one. She can keep one floating with no issue, just look how good her movie Best Player did. I mean, she isn’t someone who needs help to stand on her own in acting or anything. Jennette is solid in her skills and I know that she could easily land big roles, but first she needs to have some serious credit to her name and having her show to star in would be a great start. Don’t you think so?
