Is The Wanted Better Than One Direction?

We haven’t heard from The Wanted in a while and we all know that we missed our favorite bad boys. But they have returned to the forefront to talk about if they are better or not than One Direction. It seems as if these boys learned a lesson and took the high road when it came to answering that question. They had nothing but kind words and did not imply that they were any better than the former X-Factor stars. You can catch the on the spot question and their reaction in the video down below. You may find yourself gaining back some respect for these boys.

I am so pleased that they took the high road. Ever since their flub about Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, it seemed that they forgot who they were. Maybe some time away from the spotlight was what they needed, since it appears that they have come back in a good way. I just hope that they can avoid those same kind of issues again and make sure that they stay on the right path. After all, they are rumored to tour with Justin Bieber at some point and I am sure he wants them to be on their best behavior. Nobody wants to stop being fans of theirs at all. And it is hard to be a fan when you cannot respect them. So let this new leaf stay with them.

How do you feel about how they handled the question? Which of the two bands do you prefer? I think they are equal, but one band is a tiny bit more mature than the other. The Wanted isn’t a band that I would consider as kid friendly per se, while One Direction really is a better choice for that group. However, they both have talent and know how to play the perfect role of a boy band-so it makes them both equal. It really makes me smile to think that they know that sometimes it is better to avoid the topic the best way that you can and they did just that for this question. I have no doubt that they will be asked the same question again in the future and we need to keep our ears peeled for their response.
