Giles Matthey: I Agree True Blood is Hot

By on June 13, 2012

True Blood is one of the current popular vampire based TV shows that has a major following and they are kicking off a new season on June 10th. So Cambio decided to reach out to one of the stars, Giles Matthey who plays Claude. He shared with them that he agrees the show is hot, even if he feels that his own role isn’t! That may surprise his fans, but he explains his reason in the interview down below. He also shares some secrets from this upcoming season, so be warned if you hate spoilers! Beyond that, most fans will enjoy the inside info and hearing why he thinks that he is not the reason the series is hot.

I am pleased to hear that Giles is not vain. I think Hollywood has too much of that and with him making that list of stars one less is good news. I think that makes him all that much more respectable. However, that is just my own personal opinion on this. I hope that he can rub off on others and prove that vanity does not make or break an actor. As for sharing season secrets, that helps his fans who love them and makes the fans who hate spoilers mad. At least he seems to deal with it well and doesn’t give everything, otherwise he would not be helping his own show out at all. Or at least I don’t think anyone would feel as if he was helping people out or not,

How do you feel about this interview? Are you a fan of show? I personally do not see the big deal with it. I think the modern vampire dramas do not bring anything new to the front and honestly it seems less about vampires with every episode. However, I do think it has its place in the world of entertainment. So with the being said, I will admit that I loved the <em>Sesame Street parody of the show. It was cute and allowed something that the parents could enjoy as well as the kids could. It was tastefully done by far and I do wish that they would release a new one parody of it.
