Ed Sheeran is Doing a North American Tour
The British invasion seems almost in full swing. One Direction has already taken the US by storm and now Ed Sheeran is making waves.
His debut album ‘+’ at number five on the Billboard 200 chart which makes his album the highest solo debut album from the UK since 2009. Now Ed is going on a North American tour to show off his folk like vocals and dreamy swagger that will get under way September 17th in Toronto ON, Canada and will finish off in Seattle, WA. Sheeran’s single “The A Team” has had extensive radio support, since then he won two BRIT Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough of the Year, while “The A Team” also won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
Taylor Swift is a big fan of Ed’s and has even gotten together with him during a jam session and may have even collaborated on a song. “+” has had wide critical acclaim with rave reviews from national publications like Entertainment Weekly and People, which awarded the album 3-and-a-half (out of 4) stars.
