Disney Releases Planes New Teaser Trailer

Now that Disney has pushed back the date for Planes release, they just released the first trailer. It features Brad Garrett and Jon Cryer will voice the two main characters in the movie. It will come out in the fall of 2013 as a DVD. The movie is being modeled the Cars franchise. This movie has been in the works for a good while and only recently have we heard about the movie since it was announced. You will find the trailer down at the bottom of this post if you wish you get an idea on what it will be about.

I know that I was slow to come around to the idea of Cars, but I actually did learn to like it and now I feel the same way about this movie. I think it will be better than it sounds and i am personally excited to see what it will bring. By the sounds of it, I do think we can all enjoy it and see the humor that they wanted to capture in this movie. It might become the next big hit that Disney has had with the Cars franchise. However, I do think that it clearly won’t be the same the same as the other franchise, it will have to have its own differences. Disney has been in the business long enough to know better.

How do you feel about this movie? Will it do as well as Cars, even if it is going straight to DVD? I think it has a chance to do well despite of how it will be released. If they promote it the right way, I see no reason for them not to have success with the release. They just have to know how and when to market it. So I think all we need to do is wait and see what path Disney takes with it before we can make that call.
