Debby Ryan Talks Radio Rebel DVD Release

By on June 26, 2012

Debby Ryan caught up with Clevver TV to discuss the release of her hit movie Radio Rebel on DVD and other related topics. She shares what she thought of the movie and her other plans. As you can tell, she talks a lot, but also has some shyness. You can watch the full interview down below to see what she all had to say about the movie (which premiered in Europe recently, so no DVD release date for them is known yet). As of next, she will be heading back to film the second season of Jessie and then the feature film afterwards.

I am so happy that Debby has found her place in the business. I think she has proven to the whole world that she is more than just a sidekick. I hope that Disney realizes what a gifted person they have and yet provide her with the means so she can shine. She really needs to have solid room so she can try out acting without Disney and to carve out a path for herself once her Disney days are over. After all, isn’t that what most child stars look forward to? Except for the likes of Drake Bell and Raven Symone, who happily keep working for kid’s networks well into their 20s at this point.

How do you like her interview? Are you a fan of Debby’s or not? I think we all know that I am avid fan of hers. She has gone from being a minor sidekick to a star, all within a year and that is huge. I don’t think we can ever doubt her since she can easily carry the weight of having her own series. I hope we can expect a long career from her, even up to her non-Disney days whenever that may happen. But for now we can enjoy these roles and keep rooting for her to land even bigger projects later on down the road.
