David Archuleta To Release Begin August 7th

David Archuleta may be on his Mormon mission for the next 2 years, but he is still going drop a new album! Begin was recorded before he went away on his mission and will be released on August 7th. While no tour will happen, he has been keeping fans updated via his manager and pre-recorded videos for his fans. No track listing was given as of yet. It will feature his new single “I’ll Never Go”, which is a good choice when you consider his current trip. This will also mark his 5th album since he was voted off of American Idol. His last album was Forevermore, which was released this years in the Philippines.

I am so happy that he carefully planned out his career while he was gone. It was a great gift and helps to keep him in the attention of the media while he is doing some serious good. I have no doubt that we can expect amazing music from it. It may even be even more passionate since he knew that he would be disconnected away from his fans for as long. I personally cannot wait to see what it will have and what his songs will be like off it. I think we can all agree that it will hold a lot of love that he has for his fan base. In a way, it was his going away gift to his fans and thus I am sure he treats it more special than his normal releases.

How do you feel about the release date? I am surprised by how close it is! It really is not all that far off and that is great news for his fans. Plus, we can expect it will make it onto a lot of fan’s holiday wish list. I am sure he will see a lot of sales and even bigger sales once the holiday season rolls in. After all, what is a greater gift than listening to your favorite singer’s newest album on one of your favorite time of the year? It will certainly make for a magical time for his fans by far, even if they do buy it on the day of the release.

   Actually I’ll Never Go is the next single/video from the Forevermore album. And I think David’s official site now has the track list for BEGIN. which is an album of inspirational songs (mostly well known pop songs, with one hymn and one original by David). David’s an amazing guy. It’s incredible how much beautiful stuff he left for his fans while he’s gone. BTW he’s DavidArchie on twitter

   I think the release date is kind of early but I’ll take it. Can’t wait to hear David’s version of these songs and of course the original song.

   I’m really excited for the BEGIN CD. I almost screamed when I read the tracklist on my iphone. Caught myself just in time. That would have been weird.
