Carrie Underwood Advises Miley Cyrus To Have A Long Engagement

Carrie Underwood has a bit of engagement advice for Miley Cyrus.  In a recent interview with Extra TV she voiced that Miley Cyrus should have a long engagement to Liam Hemsworth before getting married.

The country starlet spoke up saying that for her she had wished she could have been engaged longer and would have liked to have been engaged a bit longer then what she was.  Unfortunately, with their schedules things did not work out right and noticed they could get married on a certain day and did so.  She says the newly engaged couple should take it easy for a while and even says ” If you can be engaged for a while I’m sure that’s really nice, plan everything slow and take your first couple of years just to really hang out together and enjoy it.”  Underwood married to ice hockey star Mike Fisher in July 2010, just six months after he proposed.  Miley got engaged to Hemsworth May 31, after a three-year on and off romance.

Miley recently has also debuted a new trim and fit figure after her engagement The singer’s dramatic slim down has been a media topic for weeks, as the actress has been photographed leaving numerous pilates, workouts and fitness studios and making public statements about her new healthy diet regimen.  What do you think?  Should Miley have a long engagement?
