Breaking Dawn Cast To Return To Comic Con 1 Final Time
San Diego Comic Con 2012 has confirmed that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2 will be there. A panel will be held on an undisclosed date and we can expect some heavy promotion for it. While we do not know if that means promotions will be starting now or not, but it does give us a good idea that they will be starting it soon. Comic Con will take place in July. As for Collider reported about the movie being confirmed at Comic Con, here it is.
We’re a month away from San Diego Comic-Con 2012, so all of the Twilight fans can start lining up outside Hall H right now. Yes, it’s been confirmed that Lionsgate-Summit’s finale, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, will be making an appearance in the “halliest of halls” this summer. But what else will make the con worth standing in the Hall H line? How about Iron Man 3, Man of Steel and Pacific Rim for starters? Unfortunately, Comic-Con looks to be a no-show for The Dark Knight Rises (except for maybe a Tumbler Tour), but that should come as no surprise. What IS surprising is the lack of any Star Trek 2 presence. Hit the jump for more scheduling information and details on what you can (and can’t) see at Comic-Con 2012
This will be an emotional one! They pretty much were at every Comic Con in San Diego for the past 4 years (if I remember correctly) and this will be their last one. It is sad, but at the same time it does give them and fans alike a proper closing. I will hate to see the franchise end, but I know that all of the stars will have even newer and bigger projects ahead of them. Hopefully we will be able to hear about those and see them act in different roles, however that will still not take away the pain of seeing one of your favorite movie franchises end, which is how I felt when Harry Potter ended.
Are you planning to attend Comic Con? I am not, but I wold love to if that meant I could see their last panel. I think they are some of the most talented today and have no doubt that this will be a bitter sweet one for them as well. It is closing a huge chapter in their lives and that is hard. However, I do have big hope for when they do land even more roles. Until then, we can always make Twilight nights with our DVDs.

It is sad that this will be the casts’ last Comic Con appearance as a group. I too am sad that their will be no more Twilight movies. Twilight has been a big part of my life…books and movies over the past 5 years and I am 77 years old and happily married. It was wonderful to see the success of a series of books and films with no pre-marital sex, no foul language, no gratuitous violence, no alcohol etc. that I could enjoy along with my grandchildren. I will dearly miss The Twilight Saga.
