Blake Lively To Be The Face Of Gucci Premiere

Gossip Girl Blake Lively is doing a bit of fragrance hopping.  While the actress did seem to be closely aligned with Chanel as she carted around their bags but now she is taking her talents to Gucci.

Blake will be the new face of their perfume Gucci Premiere.  The Gossip Girl actress filmed a commercial short directed by Nicolas Winding Refn for Gucci recently which will premiere this fall at the Venice Film Festival in September.  The stunning 24-year-old actress will appear in the house’s print ads, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.  Gucci Premiere’s fragrance is inspired by Old Hollywood charm and all the glitz and glamour surrounding it. Lively was chosen because she is a girl of extraordinary beauty and and she’s a girl who loves fashion.  Creative director of  Gucci said “She’s young, she’s also very determined, and I liked this spirit.…She knows how to be a diva in the right sense, with an aspirational glamour.”

Blake will be showing off her acting skills beyond the CW show by being a headliner in Oliver Stone’s movie Savages.  Savages comes out next month and, with Lively, stars  Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson,  Salma Hayek, Benicio del Toro and John Travolta.
