Up-and-comer Carly Rae Jepsen has everyone singing along to her catchy new track “Call Me Maybe” and now the young singer wants to give her fans a little more. She recently posted a video on VEVO that includes behind-the-scenes look at a recent concert. You can check out the video below.

In the video, Jepsen talks about her hit single. Here is what she said:

The idea of the song is basically a pickup. It’s me trying to be brave enough to ask a guy for his number,” says Carly. “The truth of it is that I’ve never actually asked a guy for his number, and I figured that you get to live vicariously through your songs. So if I was ever brave enough, that’s how I would do it.

Jespon’s “Call Me Maybe” is the ultimate girl power anthem. It’s the song that I think every girl can relate to at one point or another, especially when she likes a guy and wants to ask him out but is kind of shy. It’s no wonder this song reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100!
