Why Kristen Stewart Does Not Have A Twitter Account, How Does She Contact Robert Pattinson?

By on May 25, 2012

If you have seen someone on Twitter claiming to be Kristen Stewart then you are looking at a fake.

The Twilight actress has revealed that she does not have a Twitter account as she likes to keep part of her life private.  She mentioned that she thinks it is weird when other actors start to believe they are interesting and coll because they sell themselves.  Kristen said that she does not have a problem with Twitter and she admits that if she were not an actor she would likely have a Twitter account, but also said that once you start giving away pieces of yourself you will stop being you.  Kristen is notoriously private, so this isn’t exactly a shocker.  Currently stars such as Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga have over 15 million followers on the site each and use it to interact with their fans. After promoting ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ for the last few weeks she arrived in Cannes yesterday for her next role in ‘On The Road’.

Snow White and The Huntsman is set to premiere on June 1 and takes a different twist with the Snow White story, making the title character less a damsel in distress and more a soldier in princess’ clothes.  What do you think of Kristen being against Twitter?

Editors Note: I find it refreshing that Kristen Stewart stays away from Twitter, I mean it does keep her life a bit more private. With the way she handles her relationship with Robert Pattinson and keeps herself out of the controversy spotlight, I think she is the one some of the younger stars need to emulate. She is proof that you do not have to have all the crazy publicity around your private life to be a star.
