Taylor Swift is gearing up for her upcoming music video for “Eyes Open”, but in the mean time, she shared the lyrics. She created a cute and fun video showing the lyrics on paper and post it notes. It was all done in tasteful animation style, which gives it an old school feel. You can find the clever video down at the bottom to see her creative mind in more action while we wait for her music video. I have to say, I am excited to see what her music video will be like. I am curious as to if this lyrics video has any hints at what she has in store for it. It seems like she is the kind of person who likes to leave hints for her fans and it looks like this one had a lot of work in to for just a lyrical one. I have no doubt that she is planning something huge for it, even if she did go all out for this one for no reason.

Are you a fan of lyrical videos like this? I think they are okay, but I am not crazy about them. I prefer actual music videos. However, it is nice that she released it for her fans. It gives them something to enjoy in the meantime without having to worry about fans being upset over no music video yet. It also sort of helps build the hype up for her better, don’t you think?
