Selena Gomez – Spring Breakers Will Shock People

Selena Gomez surprised the world when it was reported that she was going to play a bank robber. Now she is talking about even bigger surprised. MTV caught up with Selena and asked her to share a little on Spring Breakers. Selena unveiled the fact that fans will be shocked by the movie, or at least that is how she is explaining it. You will find her interview down below, in order to find out what she means by that in the video.

I have to say that I am going to assume that she is right. I don’t think anyone will be prepared to see this side of her. We are used to seeing Selena playing the good girl and this will be a big step up from what she normally has played in the past years. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy this role and I am sure she likely did an amazing job with it. She has proven herself to be a good actress, who just so happened hasn’t found her big break outside of Disney yet. We are all hoping that Spring Breakers will be that chance for her at long last. She certainly has made a long, hard fight for it and deserves for this one to be her big break.

How do you feel about Selena’s interview? Do you think this movie might be her big break for films? I hope so, since she seems pretty set on making movies for a large part of her career. However, it does seem like she might have a hard time shaking off her good girl image just based on the fact that she wasn’t quick to shed it. Hopefully her fans will come to her defense and prove that she has a wide range of talent to give to Hollywood.
