Pixar Releases Mother’s Day Trailer for Brave

Disney and Pixar have been hard at work to promote their new movie, Brave. While it won’t open until June 22, fans are dying for more info and they have been kind enough to provide fans with that. So we have a new clip that they released in honor of Mother’s Day from this past weekend. The trailer shows off Merida with her mother for a few sweet moments. Of course, we do have to stress that it is Disney and Pixar, so you can expect some humor to be thrown in. You can watch the cute clip down below.

I have to say that I am glad that they wanted to honor mothers. It was a nice touch and also a great tool to further promote the movie. It might even further make some parents to decide to see the movie for those who were on the fence. I am sure they would love to have a new success after a few flops in the past, however, this time I don’t see how this one can fail since it is about a princess who also is more of a free spirit than anything else. So it seems like they know what a hit this one can easily be for them.

How do you feel about the clip? It is great and I love the concept. However, I do hope they do something like that for Father’s Day since it would only be fair to do that. Plus with that being the actual opening month for the movie, it would be a useful tool that could help them further push the movie to the direction that they want to go. Granted, I doubt they need the help but you never know and it wouldn’t really cause them to lose anything for releasing one.
