New Victorious Music Coming Out in June

By on May 10, 2012

Victorious has another album coming out and its called Victorious 2.0: More Music from the Hit TV Show. It will come out on June 5th. The album artwork and tracklist has been released for those who are curious to see what they can expect from it. The entire cast all sing songs on the soundtrack and they will also kick off Universal Orlando Resort’s 2012 Summer Concert Series on June 9th. They will perform their next single “Make It In America” on a special episode called “Tori Goes Platinum”. That episode will come on May 19th. The actual single will be released on May 15th as a digital single to help promote the new soundtrack. As for what to expect on the album, here is the full track list for it.

1. “Make It In America” featuring Victoria Justice
2. “Take A Hint” featuring Victoria Justice & Elizabeth Gillies
3. “Shut Up and Dance” featuring Victoria Justice
4. “5 Fingaz To The Face” featuring Victorious Cast
5. “Countdown” featuring Leon Thomas III & Victoria Justice
6. “Don’t You Forget About Me” featuring Victorious Cast
7. “I Think You’re Swell” featuring Matt Bennett *iTunes exclusive bonus song

I am happy that “Take A Hint” will finally be released, but I am not crazy about how small the album will be. The fact that it only has 7 tracks really makes it more of an EP than a regular album. It is a shame, but I suppose we should be happy that they are releasing it. I know that I have been waiting for “Take A Hint” to come out and I am more than happy to see that it will finally be released at long last.

Are you happy that these songs are featured on the album? If so, which one is the one you are looking forward to the most? I think you know which one it is for me. However, we can all agree that each of the stars should really have a chance to shine. So far, Victoria Justice has been able to shine along with Ariana Grande, but what about the rest? I would love to see each one of them get a chance to release a single all of their own. Then again, I am not sure how many of them want to take their music outside of the show. At least we will be able to see how they perform on stage together. I have no doubt that it will be filmed and shared online, so I am looking forward to it. In the meantime, I think I will be counting down until I can actually buy a copy of “Take A Hint” off iTunes.
