Kristen Stewart & Jennifer Lawrence In Top 100

By on May 28, 2012

Maxim is showing their love of tough girls in the 2012 top 100 hottest women list. Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence are both included in the top 20! Kristen sits at #15 and is given the reason for making Twilight bearable. They also hinted they cannot wait to see her duke it out with Charlize Theron (who they placed at #16). Jennifer of course tops off K-Stew at sixth spot. They claim that since she has played wide range of roles, including as Katniss is what makes her worthy to be listed. Both are clearly some of their favorites and for a good reason to say at the least.

I am not surprised they included both. They aren’t known for picking non-action actresses and these two fit their prefences well. However, I am not sure how Kristen and Jennifer must feel about all of this. I am sure they both want to be seen as serious stars and if they are on lists like this that it could hurt them. I am sure that nobody wants that for them and they have worked hard to get to where they are right now. However, they might have a hard time landing roles outside of heroines.

How do you feel about this list? Does it do Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence justice? Yes and no, they are pretty and all-but they are so much more. We know what amazing actresses they are and I do not want to see them getting stuck in not so good roles thanks to be just seen as pretty faces by the media. That would certainly not help them anymore than if they were not even on the list at all. I hope I am just jumping to conclusions. What do you guys all think about the chance of them being typed cast in the future?
