Justin Bieber Fragrance To Win Scent of the Year Award At The 40th Fifi Awards

By on May 16, 2012

Justin Bieber keeps winning awards and his scent Someday is about to join his award collection. The scent is slated to win the 2012 Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award at the upcoming 40th Fifi Awards. He had tight competition with Tom Ford Violet Blonde and Prada Candy, which both were up for the same award. Someday broke records shortly after being released last July (2011). His scent raked in over $3 million within 3 weeks of release. His scent is also up for the female luxe award.

Wow, he is certainly going to need a bigger home for all of his awards. He has been building an award stash and I have a feeling that it isn’t slowing down. The fact that he will win an award for a fragrance proves just how much of a force he is. It will be hard to compare anything other fragrance in terms of how well as Someday has sold. He has set the standard by far and I have a feeling that before long he will be releasing more. He is not someone to play around with to say at the very least.

Do you think he is a good businessman? I do, but a big part of that has been his manager and other handlers. He has pretty much allowed them to run it for him and now he can legally do it for himself, I do hope he keeps these guys in mind. Scooter Braun and rest of the team have done some amazing stuff for him. So I can only hope his luck keeps this pace up, but we also have to realize all of the hard work that goes into these kinds of things. It isn’t as easy as it looks when we see the end product and this award is a good example of that.
