iCarly Begins Efforts To Get Tom Hanks On Show

The cast of iCarly have begun efforts to get the Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks on their show.

It was the dream of Dan Schneider to get Tom Hanks onto the show to play the father of Carly on iCarly.  He even went to Twitter and implored Tom Hanks to come to the show promising the actor that he would have fun.  The cause has been taken up by the fans of the show and continued to re-tweet Tom Hanks pleading him to agree to an episode of iCarly.  Now that show has been confirmed to be done after five seasons so it seems more important to convince those they want to be on the show.  This June Miranda Cosgrove and cast are set to tape the show’s season finale but Cosgrove certainly hinted that she was ready to move on when we spoke to her back in January.  While it is uncertain how Carly’s story will end Miranda is set to move on when she attends university in the fall.

Others of the cast have received their own Nickelodeon shows with the final episode of the iCarly show airing sometime in November with Nickelodeon expected to air vintage episodes of the hit show indefinitely.  Do you think Tom Hanks should join the iCarly cast for an episode?

   Of course I think he should be on the show! Being my favorite actor EVER, this would be amazing! And I’ve watched this show since the day it aired, and I like it. I watch it when nothing else is on and now I’m 15! I love Tom Hanks and think it would be awesome for him to guest star on it!
