Good news for Lionsgate, Suzanne Collins, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth! They have collectively accumulated 5 Teen Choice Awards nominations- much like the successful steps of Harry Potter and Twilight, The Hunger Games has earned a lot of money and now attention. Here are the categories that they are nominated for and who they are up against. You can start voting now at the official Teen Choice Awards website and you can watch the results live on July 22. Wow, they certainly have done good for themselves. I am surprised that Josh was not included in the Choice Male Hottie, since we know that he has fans who find him as hot. I am also surprised that Taylor Swift was nominated for her single. I really did not expect that! It is a nice touch, but it just supported the movie more than anything. It did not seem like something that I would have expected to be up for an award. But it is good news for Taylor by far. I am sure she must feel proud about it. Besides that, I am not really surprised by anything else. It seems like we could expect that for the others by far.

How do you feel about these nominations? I like them and it is nice to see that they are receiving so much love. I have a feeling that these are just the start of a crazy award season later on. They will likely be wearing more designer items and doing red carpet stops than they can count. It will be a good time for them and also a chance for them to show the world that they are respected stars now. I certainly think that they do deserve to win a few of the awards and I am not sure that I am not the only one who felt that way. Who do you hope will win?
